Terms and Conditions

Dear Client,

We value you and your business very highly. To avoid any misunderstandings, please read carefully the terms and conditions below prior to making your reservation and payment. PAYMENTS - A £100 deposit per person is required to confirm your reservation. Some customised programmes may require a higher deposit amount. Full payment is required no later than 8 weeks prior to departure. For reservations received less than 8 weeks in advance, full payment is due at the time of booking. If full payment is not received 8 weeks before travel, your reservations may be canceled without notice and cancellation penalties applied per the Cancellation Policy below.

PRICING – All prices are valid at time of printing subject to availability and based on exchange rates in effect at that time. All prices are subject to change without notice. To guarantee against any possible price fluctuations, you may make full payment at the time your invoice is issued.

CASH DISCOUNT - All prices include a 4% cash discount which applies to payments by personal cheque or bank transfer in British Pounds Sterling. We accept credit and debit card payments but the cash discount does not apply. We also accept payment in Euros, Swiss Francs and most recognised hard currencies.

PEACE OF MIND - All monies received by us are held in a separate trust account in accordance with the UK Package Travel Regulations 1992. No moneys are released from this account until after you have returned from your holiday.
We are also fully insured via Royal & Sun Alliance Tour Operator’s public liability insurance, policy number AF670407.

GIFT CERTIFICATES - Gift certificates are available for purchase for Golf Holidays and Golf Tuition programs in Tunisia.

AIR TRAVEL/FLIGHTS - Our prices do not include flights. On request we will refer you directly to airline companies or travel agents who specialize in flights from your preferred airport to Tunisia. We are not responsible for canceled or delayed flights. Clients are encouraged to purchase their airline tickets only from reputable airline companies who meet IATA and/or ATOL license requirements. Flight bookings are subject to the flight operator terms and conditions.

HANDICAPS - All golfers should carry a current handicap card or certificate which may be required by some golf clubs featured in our tours. Maximum handicap restrictions may apply for some courses. If you do not have a handicap card or certificate, you should bring a letter of reference from your local golf professional which states your handicap. One of our golf professionals can provide a reference letter for a fee of £30. Golfers without handicaps may be allowed to play at the discretion of the head golf professional and will be expected to obey golf course rules and etiquette. Failure to show a handicap certificate or letter of reference from a golf professional when requested may result in your being refused access to some golf clubs.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Written notice of your cancellation should be mailed or faxed to Golf Tunisia Ltd as soon as possible. The following cancellation fees will apply:

The deposit amount is non refundable once the booking has been confirmed
50% of tour cost will be charged between 59 and 30 days prior to departure
75% of tour cost will be charged between 29 and 15 days prior to departure
No refund will be given for cancellations made within 14 days of departure.

No refunds will be made for unused portions of the itinerary. We reserve the right to cancel, change or substitute any service and to decline to accept or retain any tour member at any time for any reason.

LAST-MINUTE RESERVATIONS: Bookings received less than 8 weeks prior to departure will be accepted only on full payment at the time of booking. If requested services cannot be confirmed, all money will be refunded. If services are confirmed, all applicable cancellation penalties will apply.

CHANGES – Any changes made by the customer after a tour has been booked and confirmed will be subject to a £20 per person revision fee, plus any expenses imposed by suppliers as a result of these changes.

INSURANCE – Trip cancellation and travel insurance is highly recommended - especially to cover the possibility of flight cancellation. We do not sell insurance ourselves. Information regarding travel insurance companies is available to all clients with confirmed reservations or upon request. UK and EU residents are required to provide proof of travel insurance before departure. Clients of other nationalities who choose not to purchase travel insurance are required to sign an Insurance Waiver Agreement.

GOLF COURSE SELECTION - All golf is subject to availability. Tee times will be confirmed in advance before departure with your holiday vouchers after your full payment has been received. Golf courses of similar standing may be substituted without notice. The sequence of the courses listed in your itinerary may also change due to course availability.

SOFT SPIKES – Soft spikes are now required on all courses in our featured destinations.

CAR RENTAL - Drivers must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Unlimited mileage, local value added taxes (VAT), and collision damage waiver insurance (CDW) are included. Rates do not include gasoline and personal accident insurance. Prices are based on 24 hour clock period. Additional payment may be required based on pick up and drop off times. Major credit card or cash security deposit may be required at time of rental.

CARTS AND CADDIES AND TROLLEYS– Electric carts (Buggies) and caddies and trolleys are available at the golf courses. Buggies may be prebooked only for certified medical reasons. Cost of these items is not included in your price, and is to be paid directly to the golf club.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of similar standard when necessary for reasons beyond our control. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin or double bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. All hotel rates are based on our agreements with our suppliers and are not negotiable. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 2:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. Please be sure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been taken into consideration when a late night flight is being used.

REFUNDS - There will be no refunds for unused package tour services or features, including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or missed flights, unused meals, missed sightseeing tours, missed tee-times, unused entrance fees, and accommodations. No terms set forth in this brochure may be changed by anyone other than an authorized representative of Golf Tunisia, and in order for those changes to be deemed acceptable, they must be documented in writing. Golf Tunisia is not obliged to guarantee promises (written or verbal) made by local hotel staff, tour guides, local agents, or any other persons not under direct employ of Golf Tunisia. If you have any complaint during your holiday, you should try to resolve the problem in the spot and not wait until you return home. If your problem is with the hotel, speak directly with the hotel manager. If the golf course, with the golf course manager. If you have a problem or complaint with our company, you must seek to resolve the issue with one of our local representatives whose contact details are included with your vouchers. Any claim for reimbursement after you return from your holiday must be accompanied by the appropriate voucher and a written statement from the respective manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Golf Tunisia has contracted with independent contractors in securing the services provided in their tours and is not responsible or liable for any negligent act and/or omissions of these independent contractors, their employees, agents, or representatives. Golf Tunisia gives notice that in issuing coupons, vouchers or tickets for travel or transport by any means, for golf, hotels or other accommodations, they are acting not as principals but as agents only for the companies, corporations or persons providing or offering their service. Golf Tunisia is not responsible or liable, with respect to person or property, for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity however sustained or suffered during any trip or tour arranged by them. Furthermore, customer waives any claim against Golf Tunisia, its employees, agents and principals for (a) any loss of or damage to property or injury to any person caused by reason of any defect, negligence, or other wrongful act or omission of, or any failure of performance of any kind; (b) any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, mental distress or other similar matter; (c) any delayed departure, missed connections, substitutions of accommodations or other services, terminations of service, or change in fares or rates; and (d) any cancellation or double booking of reservations beyond the direct control of Golf Tunisia. Golf Tunisia does not accept any responsibility for losses or other additional expenses due to delays or changes, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, weather, acts of God or other causes. Any such losses or expenses are to be born by the customer.

TRAVEL AGENTS AND RESELLERS – Warrant that each customer has been advised to carefully review the preceding Terms and Conditions and that furthermore each customer fully understands that they are subject to the said Terms and Conditions.
